** Flame input to-tip length is important because this dimension influences the the difficulty of properly positioning the flame. A greater flame input to-tip length tends to make it easier to see where the flame is and therefore hold it in the right place. Measured between the CENTER of flame input to the tip of the black plastic mouthpiece (removable if desired).
