Handcarved VGs
The Handcarved VGs are available in maple, walnut and teak. The teak wood is plantation grown.
The top and bottom are made of matching wood, though a perfect match is not possible because of natural color variations.
Length is 5.5 inches from mouthtip to the center of the bowl, which is about 1 inch longer than the classic. Some users say the Handcarved pipe is a little easier to use because it is longer, and the filter top sits a little lower, which makes it easier to position the flame accurately.
The Handcarved pipes are carved and finished by hand in upstate New York. The finish is a mixture of beeswax and carnauba wax. This natural finish is slightly less durable than the finish on the classic VaporGenie, but the wax finish is still quite durable, totally natural, and replenishable. With use and wear, it may be necessary to replenish the finish by buffing or rubbing beeswax into the wood. This can be done easily with a cloth and wax finishing compound, or with heated beeswax.
The bowl of the Handcarved VaporGenie is held in place with a small amount of high-performance, high temperature epoxy. This adhesive is guaranteed to not outgas or produce vapors. There is no adhesive in the vapor flow path.
We are now making 4 styles of Handcarved pipes. They all use the same hardware and have the same functionality, only the shape of the wood is different. If you want a combo of a top and bottom that isn't listed just tell us in the customer note section at the end of checkout. Let us know what you think about the new Handcarved top shapes.
Smooth - The top is a sphere, the bottom is straight and smooth.
Straight - Straight cylindrical top, the bottom is straight and smooth.
Wavy - Simple wavy top. Unique shaped bottom (same as spiral bottom).
Spiral - A spiral fluted top, the bottom has a unique shape you can see here in the pictures, which provides a slightly more stable footing.
DO NOT USE THE Handcarved pipe bottom as a conventional smoking pipe! This can cause the stainless steel bowl to become loose, thereby ruining it.
These pipes are NOT available for wholesale, so you will not find them anywhere except here on our website.

VG Wire Brush
|
$3.50
|
        |
|
These brushes are for cleaning your stainless steel or wood (classic or handcarved) VG. They are custom made for VaporGenie and are made entirely of stainless steel. They will provide a thorough scrub and can be reused many times. If the brush becomes clogged, simply rinse it with alcohol to clean it. DO NOT use these brushes on the aluminum pipes. These steel brushes will scratch and damage the anodization coating on the aluminum pipes. The aluminum pipes should be cleaned with alcohol or hot soapy water, or soft pipecleaners. Don't use scratchy cleaners on the Aluminum pipes. Also, these brushes cannot be used on the glass VG. Only use these brushes for the classic, stainless steel and handcarved VaporGenie pipes.
See the Spare Mouthpieces product listing for info on brush sizing. The brush size you need is based on the mouthpiece size of your VG.

Also, EVERYONE loves it.Everyone who tries it is blown away, and I've heard "best pipe I've ever used" from several of my friends. The ONLY downside is that it can be tough to use if you're outside in a breeze or in a room with alot of moving air.
