The Peapod Massager is a new hand-held massage device that provides super smooth massage action. The PeaPod massager has 3 rolling steel balls held in the wooden base by magnets. The balls are free to roll.
The steel balls roll easily over the skin, providing massage pressure without pulling or scratching. Massage oil is unnecessary because there is very little friction. Rolling balls can roll in ANY direction, so the massager can be moved any direction. Unlike some other massage products, the PeaPod is not limited to linear movement.
Balls are retained by magnets and are easily removed and replaced, so use it with 1,2 or 3 balls. For example, use 2 balls for massaging both sides of the spine simultaneously.
The PeaPod base is made of North American hardwoods (Oak, Walnut (the dark one), and Ash). The wood is finished with medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, a natural edible oil from coconut and palm. No paints, varnishes, or glues are used. Balls are nickel-plated hardened steel and will not rust. Nickel-free stainless steel balls are available (they cost extra).
Maintenance:
Occasionally apply medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil to wood and balls.
Occasionally clean the cavities.
